If you love all things homeware, then you need to be heading to your local Homesense store for some household bargains. If like me, you love cushions, throws, unnecessary accessories such as a giant pineapple and novelty shot glasses, then you will have a fabulous time visiting.
I had never visited a Homesense store until I was invited along to check out the new stock. It’s the kind of place where if you see something you like, you best buy it then and there otherwise it’ll be gone. I’d compare it to the homeware section of TK Maxx, but less of a jumble sale and better organised as everything was colour coded, although I think I upset the manager with this comment #soz.
Everything in store is a bargain and you’ll see a price difference in their price and the RRP. There’s usually only around one of everything so if you miss it, then it’s pretty tough to find it again. My favourite section of the shop is most definitely the stationary, I am a sucker for a cute notepad. One for every cute saying you can think of. From rugs to saucepans, mirrors to flower pots, wine racks to wrapping paper, everything you need for the perfect home accessory can be found here.
The staff at Homesense that I encountered were lovely and helpful, always on hand to see if you needed help finding anything. The girl on the till when I visited was so nice and seemed passionate about the store which was great to see. Having employees that believe in your brand is always beneficial.
We were kindly gifted with a £25 voucher to purchase our favourite items and being the sensible adult that I am, I chose a bright yellow pineapple, fruit designed shot glasses and some dog chews for my little fur baby and then kindly donated by remaining £1.64 to my blog babe Hannah as a thanks for taking photos of me.
