I’m definitely not a style icon or fashion extraordinaire but this year I have found a few key pieces which I find really work for me that can be integrated into my wardrobe. I’m one of those people that once they find something they love, they will buy it in every single colour. Yep, that’s exactly what I have done this year. My style is pretty basic and I am trying to convert to some kind of capsule wardrobe. I absolutely love the idea of a capsule wardrobe but I am terrible at letting things go.
The A Line Skirt
Honestly, I LIVE in this thing. Well 3 of them actually as I purchased it in blue denim, black denim and khaki green. It goes with everything and looks so flattering no matter what you body shape or size is.
Plain Crop Top
The ultimate best friend to the a-line skirt. Piece these two babies together and it looks so chic and stylish without trying too hard.
Bardot Skater Dress
Back in 2014, I pretty much lived in skater dresses, all day every day, due to the perfectly flattering fit for my pear shaped, wide hips and ever-growing ass. Now they’ve upgraded slightly and I picked up this style in New Look for just £7.99 (BARGAIN!) I’m obsessed so obviously I bought it in all 3 colours.
Denim or material, give me them all.
Perfect Plain t-shirt
Finding the perfect plain t-shirt is the ultimate accessory to any wardrobe. I believe I have found it in Primark believe it or not.
I’d love to know what your style tips are, or what are your ultimate wardrobe staples. Have you tried a capsule wardrobe? Give me all the tips!
