Benefit is a well known high end makeup brand and one which I absolutely love. A lot of my staple face makeup comes from Benefit such as their High Beam and Bella Bamba blusher. Perhaps a little pricey – but worth it, in my opinion.
When Benefit advertised the opportunity to grab a sneaky sample of their new License to Blot primer, I jumped at the chance. I’ve owned the original Porefessional before and believed it worked wonders. I definitely suffer from oily skin and large pores which isn’t the prettiest when wearing makeup as it slips, slides and looks patchy.
Porefessional: License to Blot is advertised as a ‘oil blotting stick’ which mattifies shine for up to 6 hours. This appealed to me straight away due to the oiliness I have to deal with. No matter how much powder I apply, there is a shine and unfortunate glow radiating from my face after two hours. Having tested this out for a couple of weeks, I 100% agree that this little tube of goodness keeps shine at bay. I applied the stick underneath my makeup at around 8 am and felt it kept my skin looking matte for longer than usual; perhaps around 1 it required a little top up but still less oily than usual.
If you suffer from oily and shiny skin, I’d recommend trying this out.
