Tanning with MooGoo*

After being introduced to MooGoo and Dusty Girls at the blogger event in January, I have been obsessed with their products. The lovely Megan reached out to me to see if I was interesting in testing out anything else and I was thrilled by the opportunity.

As it’s coming up to summer, I love looking bronzed and like a glowing golden goddess! I’ve started getting back into self tan and Megan mentioned MooGoo’s Brown Cow cream.

Let me start by saying this is the best self tan I have EVER used.  It’s a gradual moisturiser which is my favourite type as you can really build it up. In comparison to my Garnier summer body moisturiser, Brown Cow is a lot creamier and lighter consistency. Once shaved and exfoliated, I applied this all over my body with my hands and woke up the next morning like I had just got back from the beach. I did however end up with fake tan hands so be sure to wash them after application as advised. To me, this tanner smells like raisins but once dried, I can’t smell anything which is much better than the usual ‘biscuit’ type smell which always gives away the fact you’ve faked it and not spent the last two weeks on a beach. As the product is based on their Full Cream, not only does it give you a tan, it is also extremely nourishing and moisturising which is an added bonus.

To accompany my Brown Cow cream, the Dusty Girls Bronzer is a great partner to get a bronzed appearance. Whilst the colour didn’t work for me as a contour, it looks great dusted over the high points of your face for a natural tan look. It feels great on the skin and looks warm with slight shimmer rather than orange and cakey. Dusty Girls use natural ingredients which will help prevent the makeup causing break outs which is always a great selling point for me.

Have you tried any MooGoo or Dusty Girl products?

Not tried either, but they both sound good and I love the names!

Makes me want to go shave, exfoliate and tan myself. The Cream looks lovely coming out the tube. All creamy. I would love to try this as I am as white as a ghost. Is it not in the UK?

It’s an Australian brand however they deliver to the UK. They are hoping to put their products in small idependent chemists throughout the country 🙂 x
